Welcome!
A practical guide for democratic, liberatory, struggle-oriented organising.
Welcome to yourparty.tools — a practical toolkit to help you build Your Party and instil a culture of democracy, solidarity and collective action.
You don't have to wait for anyone: grassroots democracy begins with you, from the bottom up. People around the country are starting WhatsApp and Facebook group chats, arranging small meetings of friends, neighbours, and planning larger community assemblies.
There's plenty of enthusiasm and ideas coming from many directions which should be warmly welcomed and listened to by all. By coming together, comrades can build enthusiasm and energy, to listen, discuss and debate our early ideas so that future members of the party feel well informed on the likely key issues that will come up at the conference.
These points are intended to help navigate common questions that will arise when planning a meeting and help you arrive at decisions on the format. However you organise your meeting, use Robert's Rules as a detailed reference guide.
Start with this Proto-Branch Toolkit, then explore the sidebar for links to other guides.
