What's happening, when, in Your Party?

Here's what can confidently be said about the timeline of Your Party:

  • In the Summer of 2025, Your Party was announced by Zarah Sultana and Jeremy Corbyn, two London MPs.
  • Since then, around 800,000 people have signed up to join the party.
  • As at 29 August, at least 54 grassroots-led "proto-branches" have started gathering.
  • At some point later in 2025 or 2026, there will be some kind of founding conference. This will be a chance for all the proto-branches to come together and agree on the party's principles, programme, and policies.
  • Some people in Your Party are interested in running election campaigns in May 2026. In England, this will be for the local elections, and in Scotland, this will be for the Holyrood parliamentary elections.
